Battle of the Pizzas: A Slice of Success!
This year’s Battle of the Pizzas was an incredible celebration of community, connection, and—of course—fantastic local pizza. A huge thank-you to Zubs Pizza & Subs, Pier 49, A Slice of NY Pizza, Mountain Mike’s Pizza, and Papa Johns for bringing their best flavors and making the event unforgettable.
We were honored to hear from Marcie Mock, Soldier & Family Readiness Specialist for the 19th Special Forces Group (Airborne) and Recruiting & Retention Battalion at Camp Williams. Her message, shaped by her service across multiple Guard units, reminded us that it truly takes a village to support our military families.
Our chamber is grateful to be part of that village. Thanks to the generosity of attendees and participants, we proudly raised $450 to support veterans and military families.

Thank you for joining us at 2025 Battle of the Pizzas, where local pizza masters compete for top honors—and our business community comes together to support local veterans and military families.
The 2025 Battle of the Pizzas truly made a difference with the support of our attendees. Each attendee voted for their favorite pizza by donating dollars. Each attendee will received one ticket to vote and purchased additional tickets for additional votes, 5 for $20 or $5 each. All proceeds went to benefit local veterans and military families in need.
We were privileged to have 5 local pizzerias support—bringing four of their best pizzas.

Do you think your pizza restaurant has what it takes to compete in this years battle? We do! Enter the battle to prove you have the best. There are several categories that will be judged and awarded for; Best Crust, Best Use of Spices, Most Memorable and Overall Best. The Overall Best award will return each year to battle it out to see if they will stay the reigning champs or if it will be passed down to a new champ.
